We are small animal rescue in Queens Village, NY. 501(c)(3)
Working with many great folks in the area, we help find homes and take dogs out of bad situations for a while. We take no money for ourselves – the Dogs are the whole purpose of our becoming a NY State Non-Profit.

Up for adoption – Wolfie

When he first got here, poor Wolfie had so many problems. He was a defeated dog. Here he is in my arms. Jaw broken in two places and teeth rotting in his mouth, he was sad and had no energy. The vet went right to work and with care and love he is now Playful, a Lovebug and a Happy Boy!

Up for Adoption – Snickers

My wife and I respond to posts needing assistance where there is often no response. No worries. We have been to bad neighborhoods to take dogs out of backyards and off chained up places as well as laying near a chicken fast food place… left there. For us, it is hard to ignore how some dogs are treated. This webpage is an amateur attempt to show you what is out there and the dogs we are hoping will find a forever home.

Honey Girl! Found by Good People – we had her for a bit and she was reunited with the owners! Such a Sweetie!

There are lots of dogs dumped, left and discarded. We hope to help give them a second chance and a third. Far too many dogs are given away to police and dog pounds that really just need a home. We understand not everyone wants a dog or another dog or a third dog… just the love they give back is telling that they understand they were saved from a really bad situation or worse… that we keep trying. Not every rescue situation is a guaranteed loving placement and we help keep some older dogs alive and tails wagging. It takes a lot. Really, a lot of effort goes into helping the lost dogs and we hope you support good rescues and shelters that care for the tossed away every day. We go through about $50 a day on good food for the sick and infirmed as well as the healthy dogs and pads and medicine. It is a job. Many other people care for rescue dogs and go through a lot. Bandaging a dog hit by a car or one with horrible dog bites or giving IV Fluids to a kidney failure dog is a tough thing on the heart. If you would like to send food to them, we have that Amazon link. You buy something and it gets sent. No money comes to us. Just the food and it gets opened and fed to dogs in need. If you want to meet dogs who were tossed away and have tails a wagging.. contact us directly. They would love the time spent with a volunteer just for a walk or play in the back yard. We gain nothing from this aside from looking at dogs who would be dead and seeing their comfort and I suppose appreciation. Getting licked from a dumped dog is incredibly warming. They had a life and it was yanked from them. Like Blind Chewy here: Such a love muffin.
Love is not lost on these dogs. They know. They come from all sorts of places yet they get when they are loved.

Kyle is Up for Adoption!!!

Kyle was vetted in August 2023 with a full range of shots.
Behavior: Kyle has never bitten a human in our care.

Kyle does not mind the rain so much and will sit outside in the sun for a good amount of time. He is typically active in the backyard and will bark at people passing by. He comes in when called and will get in his crate when asked – sometimes reluctantly – treats motivate him to go in the crate. He will remain calm in the crate and has been in the wire mesh crate for several hours at a time. He does not urinate or poop in the crate. He prefers to go outside.

We are hopeful that good people find us and want to help. We are not funded and All support goes Directly to the innocent Animals in need.
